The Deacons & Deaconesses

The Deacons & Deaconesses at RMZ are called to be humble, dedicated servants who use their spiritual gifts in a shared ministry of concern for the total well-being of God's people. The Deacons & Deaconesses are driven with purpose, direction, attitude and behavior to not serve self, but bear fruit for God. They are set aside for God's special use and to help people mature in Christ. The primary responsibilities of Deacons & Deaconesses at RMZ are, but not limited to:

-Pray for and support the Pastor and members of RMZ;

-Prepare the sanctuary for worship;

-Visit, pray for, support and encourage those member who are sick and shut-in, as well as those who are not;

-Maintain a wholesome and knowledgeable relationship with their assigned sheepfold; and

-Promoting unity within the church.

The Trustees

The Trustees of RMZ are dedicated to the service of stewardship to the church, the community and everyone who comes to worship here. The Trustees, along with the Pastor, ensure that the strategic planning, financial management, business administration, facilities, legal and personal functions that undergird the church's overall ministry are being completed in a Christ-like manner for the glory of God. The Trustees ensure that the church is managed properly by:

-Giving oversight to maintenance and care of church properties;

-Managing the fiscal operations;

-Serving as legal custodians; and

-Promoting unity within the church.
